SpiderWare®M3 platform management reduces development cycle time and lowers OpEx by enhancing the usability of leading-edge AdvancedTCA® (ATCA®) and MicroTCA™ platforms.
SpiderWareM3 platform management software is designed for Emerson’s ATCA and MicroTCA systems. The software package provides an Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) compliant platform and blade management solution that greatly enhances the user’s ability to Manage, Monitor and Maintain (M3) ATCA and MicroTCA platforms.
SpiderWareM3 acquires information such as voltage, fan speed, temperature, and power supply status, through each blade’s I2C-based IPMI interface.
SpiderWareM3 programmatic interfaces ease the integration of ATCA and MicroTCA platforms into higher-order network management systems. The software incorporates XML over TCP/IP and Service Availability Forum™ (SA Forum) compliant HPI standard interfaces, enabling developers to rapidly create solutions that leverage the functionality of SpiderWareM3.
With an intuitive graphical user interface, SpiderWareM3 can greatly enhance the out-of-box experience of both the xTCA developer and the craftsperson deploying systems. A self install wizard automates the set-up on a Microsoft® Windows® PC. SpiderWareM3 discovers all Emerson platforms on a connected network, inventories all installed blades, and represents each system with an interactive graphic. Clicking on a specific blade will give the user critical information on that module.
